His Royal Fluffiness has, after considerable deliberation, decided to audit the Moon. The Moon has been orbiting this planet for approximately four and a half billion years and has yet to submit a single report justifying its continued presence. Tonight, perched upon the highest cushion in the eastern window, Milo convenes the tribunal.

The Moon is, in point of fact, slowly deserting us — drifting approximately 3.8 centimetres farther from Earth each year. One notes this without surprise. Even the Moon cannot commit.
